Tooth-Colored Fillings:

Traditional metal fillings are often composed of mercury, which can create a black or grey appearance. For this reason, at teeth and gums we use only composite, or tooth-colored fillings. White fillings are also virtually undetectable which makes your smile healthy and beautiful at the same time.

Root Canal Treatment:

When a tooth is infected, and causing severe pain, the pulp ( containing blood vessels and nerves) are removed from the tooth..so that the tooth can be saved from extraction and function as a part of oral cavity. Our Doctors are a specialist in Root Canal Treatment..and you will be amazed that how painlessly she can carry out the entire procedure with her very experienced hands.

Tooth Whitening:

Tooth whitening can be done in our clinic or from the comforts of your home. Even the most beautiful smile can appear unhealthy or dull when teeth are stained or yellowed. Patients can enjoy smiles that are up to ten shades brighter with our tooth whitening process.

Paediatric care:

Regular care for children is extremely important for setting a great foundation for a lifetime of good oral hygiene and a healthy smile. At teeth and gums, we provide dental care for the entire family, including infants, children and adolescents. As a pediatric dentist, Our Doctors are experienced in providing dental care for infants and children and strives to make these special patients feel comfortable during their examinations and treatments. Your child should have his or her first dental appointment after the first tooth appears and before his or her first birthday. While children do lose their “baby” teeth, or primary teeth, these teeth are instrumental in helping children speak and chew properly. Additionally, these primary teeth create a path for their permanent adult teeth to follow when they erupt. Dental check-ups are also important opportunities to create a good foundation for ongoing oral hygiene and give parents the chance to ask any questions they have about a child’s oral health.

Porcelain Veneers:

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of tooth-colored porcelain that our doctor can use to cover stains or mask flaws such as cracked, broken, or misshapen teeth. Porcelain veneers are sometimes referred to as “instant orthodontics” because they can also be applied to straighten the appearance of a crooked smile.

Create the Smile of Your Dreams with Cosmetic Dentistry:

We at teeth and gums believe that each of our patients deserve a smile they can be proud to show off. We offer a variety of cosmetic dentistry solutions to correct such common aesthetic flaws as stained teeth, broken teeth, or teeth that are chipped, cracked, misshapen, or crooked.

Cosmetic Dental Bonding:

By applying a thin coating of a tooth-colored resin composite material to teeth, we can improve the appearance of a number of cosmetic flaws. In many cases, cosmetic bonding is more affordable and just as effective as porcelain veneers, though results will not last as long.

Gum Recontouring:

When a person’s gums extend too far onto the tooth surface, he or she is said to have a “gummy” smile. We at Teeth and Gums gently sculpt the gum line into a more pleasing proportion, making teeth appear larger and the smile more brilliant.

Crowns:

When a tooth has been damaged by a cavity, the doctor will most likely perform a root canal to remove the infected tooth pulp. To restore functionality and appearance, and to seal the tooth from further damage, a dental crown will then be placed over the entire tooth surface.

Ceramic restorations:

This is an advanced dental technology that is utilized for the restoration of decayed, cracked, or chipped teeth .Advanced ceramics can create full crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers. Their main advantage is superior aesthetics …looks like the natural tooth itself.

Dental Bridges:

If a patient is missing one or more teeth but is not necessarily a good candidate for dentures or dental implants, he or she may be fitted with a dental bridge. A bridge is an artificial tooth that is held in place by a dental crown on either side of the gap created by the missing tooth.

Dentures:

At Teeth and Gums, we offer both full and partial dentures to our patients. Unlike dental bridges or dental implants, dentures are removable replacement teeth. Our doctors use the most modern materials and methods to create our patients’ dentures, so they can always be assured of a comfortable fit and the most realistic appearance.

Dental Implants:

Dental implants are titanium posts that are surgically inserted into a patient’s jawbone to support permanent replacement teeth. Unlike dentures, dental implants never need to be removed for cleaning, and they allow for more comfortable eating and speaking.

Smile Makeover or Smile Design by Prostho Treatment

We combine a number of cosmetic dentistry procedures to achieve the ultimate in smile design. For example, a patient may choose to eliminate the “gummy” appearance of his or her smile with gum recontouring, and then enhance the results with a tooth whitening session. Gum care:

The initial stage of treatment for periodontal disease OR A GUM DISEASE is usually a thorough teeth cleaning that may include scaling or root planing. The objective of these non-surgical procedures is to remove etiologic agents such as dental plaque and tartar, or calculus, which cause gingival inflammation and disease. Scaling and root planing can be used as a stand-alone treatment, or a preventative measure. They are commonly preformed on cases of gingivitis and moderate to severe periodontal disease.

Oral surgery:

Some teeth are extracted because they are severely decayed; others may have advanced periodontal disease, or have broken in a way that cannot be repaired. Other teeth may need removal because they are poorly positioned in the mouth (such as impacted teeth), or in preparation for orthodontic treatment. The removal of a single tooth can lead to problems related to your chewing ability, problems with your jaw joint, and shifting teeth, which can have a major impact on your dental health. To avoid these complications, in most cases,Our Doctor will discuss alternatives to extractions as well as replacement of the extracted tooth.

Sensitive teeth?

Sometimes after dental treatment, teeth are sensitive to hot and cold. If the mouth is kept clean, this sensation should not last long. However, if the mouth is not kept clean, , the sensitivity will remain and could become more severe. If your teeth are especially sensitive, consult with our doctor. A medicated toothpaste or mouth rinse made especially for sensitive teeth may be recommended.
